The Number of The Beast is 666. It is given in Revelation, chapter 13, verse 18.

The starting point is pictured by the hand, which has 5 fingers, and a middle finger. We make an opposition of the left and the right side of the hand, so that the middle finger is what the two sides agree upon.

123 + 543 = 666, as 321 + 345 and 231 + 435 are 666, also.

Then we count the fingers as 1 2 3 2 1. That number we reach by the calculation

Keeping the opposition in mind, we make the calculation

√ ( 12321 x ( ( 1 x 2 x 3 ) ( 3 x 2 x 1 ) ) )

which is 666.

As we know, ( 1 x 2 x 3 ) ( 3 x 2 x 1 ) = 6 x 6 = 36.

That is so. The number 36, we know, though has this quality that if we add the numbers from 1 to 36, the outcome is 666.

Back to the hand, we close the four fingers which the two sides do not agree upon. What is left, erect, is the middle finger. The "finger" is the sign of the beast.
